Welcome to Modern Wave Salon & Spa. We are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience while respecting the time of our guests and service providers.

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of our website, appointment reservations, and salon and spa services. Our Guest Policies & FAQs provide additional details regarding appointments, cancellations, service adjustments, and retail purchases.

 

Appointment Reservations

Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

Online reservations require a valid credit card on file and a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward the final service total.

For appointments booked by phone, a valid credit card on file and a 50% deposit are required for complex services or appointments longer than two hours, including advanced color, color corrections, chemical services, formal styling, and HeadSpa experiences.

 

Effective January 1, 2027: All guests will be required to have a valid credit card on file to reserve appointments, regardless of whether they book online, by phone, or in person.

Appointment Confirmations & Late Arrivals

Guests are asked to confirm appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Unconfirmed appointments may be released.

Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to have their services adjusted or rescheduled.

 

Cancellations & No-Shows

We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations, rescheduling, or significant appointment changes.

Cancellation requests may be submitted by phone, text, through our booking app, or online. Email cancellations are not accepted.

 

Effective January 1, 2027: We will begin enforcing a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total for appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments.

A one-time courtesy waiver may be extended to guests with a positive appointment history. Guests with an established history of repeated late cancellations or no-shows may not be eligible for this courtesy.

Exceptions may be considered at management's discretion.

Guests with repeated cancellations or missed appointments may be required to place deposits on future appointments or be limited to same-day reservations.

Any applicable fee will be charged only in accordance with the cancellation terms and payment authorization communicated to the guest.

 

Color Services & Additional Charges

Color services cannot be booked online. New color guests must complete a consultation and questionnaire before scheduling.

All color services require a professional finishing service.

Service pricing may vary based on the stylist, appointment duration, hair length, density, complexity, and product usage.

Additional service time and product usage may result in additional charges.

 

Service Adjustments

Guests experiencing a technical concern with a completed service must contact the salon within 48 hours.

Eligible adjustments must be completed within seven days and are generally performed by the original service provider.

Adjustments address technical concerns rather than changes in personal preference or requested style direction.

Completed services are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law.

 

Retail Products

Unused products may be exchanged within seven days, subject to our retail policy.

Makeup, travel-size items, nail products, tools, discontinued products, discounted merchandise, final-sale items, and excessively used products are not eligible for return or exchange.

Refunds are considered for documented adverse medical reactions in accordance with our retail policy and applicable law.

 

Gift Cards & Promotions

Gift cards are available online and in the salon. Gift cards are subject to applicable terms and laws.

Promotional offers are subject to their advertised dates, eligibility requirements, and restrictions.

Website information is provided for general informational purposes. We strive for accuracy but may update service descriptions, prices, availability, and promotional information.

Website content, images, and branding may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission, except as permitted by law.
